Walked past this small restaurant and decided to try it as I saw they were participating in the governments Eat out to help out scheme. Their menu is also very small but I think that is a good thing as they only have a few items which they do well. Had the chicken katsu curry and pork gyoza, both were really good. I have been to Japan 3 times and love real japanese food but I have no idea what Panko think they are doing. Chicken teriyaki that seems to be deep fried in batter and does not taste of teriyaki, with some kind of mayo on top and soggy fried rice? "This restaurant is really good for an informal meal. The Beef Per Kelt was truly delicious, Lovely sauce. Came with a huge dish of chips. I like chips. Good sized portion. "Ate at the cafe whilst doing some climbing and cannot fault it. As it's situated in an indoor climbing centre inside an old church space is limited therefore don't expect the largest menu selection, but the food on offer is excellent. I had the haggis nachos and it was filling. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, you also have great views across the climbing walls if you're interested in climbing."
