The restaurant is hidden in Argyle Street. We liked the food, the drinks and the service. The staff was welcoming and helpful.
Visiting Glasgow for the day, we were lucky to get a last-minute reservation at this fabulous, intimate and nicely appointed restaurant. I had the lemon sole in a tomato, caper and basil butter sauce and my husband had the rib-eye steak wuth creamy mashed potatoes, grilled tomato, blue cheese and chive butter. Both dishes couldn't have been better. If we ever find ourselves in Glasgow again, we will definitely return.
Great value pre theatre fishy menu, beautifully cooked food and friendly efficient service. What more could you want on a Wednesday night? The only disadvantage is the tight spacing between the seating. The restaurant is tiny and the open kitchen takes up the front area, so you must book
Perhaps this is not the first time I have written about this small, cosy, mainly fish restaurant but it is worth repeating how good it is for excellent food, charming service and great value, also wonderful decor. Have never been disappointed on any level.
