Super friendly service! We went here with the aim of avoiding meat for the night so just had vegetarian options. Plenty to select from with the basic nachos with beans the highlight! Loved the backyard patio such a relaxed vibe on a Friday evening. View all feedback.
What Vergie Bergstrom doesn't like about Baja Cantina and Beer Garden:
We ordered Tortilla Soup to start and Burrito Grande for our main. The Tortilla Soup was too thick and tasted almost like Mole sauce. The Burritos lacked flavour. Having a side salad on the plate was not very authentic. The meal filled a hole but that was about it. If you're after a good Mexican meal head to Dos Senoritas in Crows Nest. It's run by a Mexican guy. His brother runs another one by the same name in Glade... View all feedback.
I have visited this restaurant multiple times and they never fail to impress!
The kids' meals are a great value, including a drink (apple or orange juice) and a dessert - a churro stick. It's just enough sweetness without being overwhelming. I especially enjoyed the chimichangas. My wife thought her chicken wrap with rice and beans was too cheesy, but that's really the only complaint we have. There were a lot of kids around, but we definitely plan on coming back for dinner and drinks. They have a large drinks menu to choose from.
Wow, this restaurant is absolutely fantastic! It was my first time trying Mexican cuisine, and I couldn't get enough of the delicious fried prawn tacos. I usually don't eat cheese, but these tacos were definitely worth a try!
Service: quick, friendly food came out in 10 minutes despite very busy restaurantFood: deep fried flautas are the best I've ever had, and chimichanga is a lightly fried burrito and wow the burrito insides arent soggy at all Ambience: Fantastic decor and great vibes
My husband and I decided to check this place out for dinner and it was a good thing we booked as the place was busy for a early Saturday night.<br/ <br/ After reading reviews we went for the mixed dip (small) which was addictive with the salsa, guac and cheese dip but that was our undoing as we were full to eat our mains! I ordered their fish tacos which wasn’t that big but I could only eat the one. My husband happily devoured my second but then his steak fajita had to be takeaway as he couldn’t finish everything. <br/ <br/ Next time, we need to skip the mixed dips and go straight to the mains. Staff were friendly and I will be back!
