Not being much interested in cakes, I dropped in twice for a coffee recharge in pleasant surroundings. Don't be fooled by the overtly feminine shopfittings of this cafe (part of a large chain): on both occasions, with different baristas, my double shot flat white was up with the best I've ever had, anywhere. What User doesn't like about Passiontree Velvet:
Tasty macarons but too expensive. After travelling in Europe and enjoying there cakes etc. I find the prices of cakes etcin Sysney too expensive. Why? I cannot understand why Australian have to fork out so much for a single small cake or macaron? View all feedback.

I passed this place the day before and wanted to have a scones, but I was too full. I went back the next day for Devonshire Cream Tea 2 Scones and a pot of tea....

What a waste of money and time. Order arrives at your table and coffee is cold, despite specifically asking for extra hot. They take it back and the replacement...
