Slow service, barista did very poor job steaming my milk. Not very friendly flies everywhere. Coffee was ok

Great food and superb coffee served by friendly staff. A local gem. Our favourites are the cornbread and smashed peas. Bon appétit!

Staff were great, and place was pretty chilled and relaxed. Quiet when I was here, and service was pretty prompt. Lovely place, well worth checking out.

"This place is a long-time Brighton staple and ever-reliable. We love the window banquette which gives great Church Street scenery and is very cosy in the evening. We went with another couple and just had a few dishes and they are very large so you won't leave hungry... or be hungry and hour later : Our waiter, Joe, was excellent and friendly and attentive and we can't wait to return. It's also BYO with a nominal corkage fee which is attractive."

"Just had the most amazing meal I've had in a long time! My parents and I traveled from Bendigo so we were starving, we checked in and walked to your establishment and were amazed at the flavoursome food we found. My mum eats small meals usually and when the huge meal came out I was like no way will she finish it but she loved the ocean trout pie so much she finished it off, my dad didn't even speak while he enjoyed his steak sandwich and I loved the Falafel.. so full of flavour! Also the polenta chips we shared were to die for! Thanks so much Fitzrovia we will be back and suggesting you to everyone :"
