Lava in Balaclava is casual with a pleasant atmosphere. Food was great, wonderful eastern flavours and very reasonably priced for the quality and size of serves. Staff were very pleasant and professional. We will definitely go back. View all feedback.

Possibly the worst breakfast in MelbourneI ordered the rosti, which bore no resemblance to rosti, or in fact any substance even approximating food.

"Really nice smoked and juicy meats. Seating is only outdoors so check the weather. When I went it was windy and raining. Not a great way to enjoy some good food. I just have to go back now. Customer service was top ... The lady there know how to look after customers. Parking: Industrial area so parking during the week can be hard with lots of trucks all around. Service: Dine in"

"Stumbled across this little place after dinner. Decided to stop in for a night cap. Really quirky venue with books to read and board games to play. The drinks came quickly and were so smooth! Definitely give this place a go"
