"Stumbled across this little place after dinner. Decided to stop in for a night cap. Really quirky venue with books to read and board games to play. The drinks came quickly and were so smooth! Definitely give this place a go"

"We have wanted to come here for a while and our visit met our high expectations. We opted for the 'feed the table' banquet between all of us and it was truly amazing. So much food and the value is very good. Highly recommend..so much seriously good food with excellent produce and ingredients. The service was excellent and attentive. Cannot fault..great night. Will be back for my 50th.."

"Really nice smoked and juicy meats. Seating is only outdoors so check the weather. When I went it was windy and raining. Not a great way to enjoy some good food. I just have to go back now. Customer service was top ... The lady there know how to look after customers. Parking: Industrial area so parking during the week can be hard with lots of trucks all around. Service: Dine in"

"It looks like an ordinary japanese takeaway but its food is quite good for the cheap prices and the staff is also polite. It's a quiet place with a few tables of customers which I like because I'm not a fan of noisy places. You can get a don for $10 and I would recommend that because the chicken curry don was fried perfectly. I would say its sushi is standard, but note that there aren't many places where you can get $2.8 for 2 nigiri in Melbourne!"

"Not just an old school roasted spud with sour cream joint, Spudbar takes the humble spud to the next level, incorporating it into a oh-so-now healthy, filling meal. I ended up grabbing lunch here when next door's Lentil as Anything didn't process my order(!). My friends meals had bought their lunch their and l was enviable of their large bowls of colourful goodness, so l was pleased in the end to follow suit! The Moroccan chickpea and kale dish was superb, very tasty. Super healthy and easy on the hip pocket at $11.40 for a fair sized bowl of nutrients. Very attractive dish with cubed beetroot atop, you can choose between sweet potato or normal potato or both."

"Absolutely disgusting service. Went there at 5pm with 2 kids. They told us that they where fully booked and couldn't accommodate us. There where only 4 people sitting down at the time. We then asked for take away and got told it's a 40 minute wait. Very rude staff and dismissive. We then went to tommy ruff on chapel Street. They where also fully booked but slotted us in and where fully accommodating. The manager there was fantastic and very kind. Just goes to show how important it is to have good staff."
