"3.9<br/ <br/ Mothers Instinct is a fantastic cafe on the corner of Glenhuntly and McCombie St in Elsternwick. Large and light filled, it has a cheery ambience with its kitchen open to the eating areas. While this can mean some of the cooking smells pervade the eating area, that’s often welcome as the food is super. I had the smart way poached eggs and smashed avo on gluten free multi grain (pictured). It was delightful and healthy. Eggs poached to perfection covered in seedy goodness. Food and coffee came quickly and the service was perfect. The coffee was fantastic nutty, strong and creamy. The brekky special looked great too brioche burger with chive scrambled eggs and house relish. Twosheds will return for lunch at some point, as the venue is licensed and the lunch menu looked great.<br/ <br/ Loved it. 3.9"

"We were advised to try the tasting plate and were not disappointed it had fish wings, calamari, prawn skewers, fish pieces, fish tacos so much that we hardly had any of the chips. This place is definitely a must in Chapel Street if you are feeling like seafood, service was efficient and our waiter Kostya made our night very enjoyable ... will be back"

"Brunch was good, coffee was great but it's a little off putting when the owner/manager is reprimanding his staff continuously in full view of the customers. It's very uncomfortable. The girls were clearly working hard but he was belittling them in front of everyone. Not very nice."

"Can't fault the pizzas here, they are excellent. Ordered the Capricosa and it had a delicious doughy base and the toppings were fresh well portioned. Love to try the in-house experience next time. <br/ <br/ NB: Despite the pizza taking 1hr 45 mins to be delivered on a busy Friday evening (placed order at 640), I have largely put this aside for the 4/5 rating as I feel most places are very busy at this time."
