Sharkys has been around forever. It is reliable and friendly. The food is cooked well. The shop is take-away only. One thing I like is there is no fru fru stuff. There's no quinoa or "twice cooked potato construction" or whatever the latest food fad is. Just fish and chips. They also always get your order right, which can't be said for many take-away places. The fish was tasteless due to defrosting, with soggy batter, although we had asked for the fish to be grilled. The chips were bright yellow; strange taste, obviously cooked in tepid oil, actually they were inedible. The new owners are pleasant.
