I really like the food at this restaurant, but the service can be slow at times. It's a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a meal together. I would give the food a rating of 5, service a 4, and the atmosphere a 5. View all feedback.
What Jane Noel doesn't like about Cock Bull Public House:
So we go to a restaurant for food...the fish and chips is NOT English pub food, but American fried fish. I ordered my hamburger medium rare, it arrived well done and dry, and cold. The waitress did the best she could to wait on the number of people in the upstairs area, but too many diners for one person. Such a charming little place, though expensive! We had a nice evening to watch trains. Baby enjoyed it as well as the did dead! Get the BBQ sauce! So amazing and homemade!
I have been on the road for an entire week between Richmond VA an Cincinnati OH. This was the best food and service I had all week. Is a Bar slash restaurant so not sure if I can say it is kid friendly but the staff was acted respectfully to us and was very attentive to our needs. The food was piping hot and fresh, some of the best fried cod I have ever eaten. The pretzels, spinach dip and mozzarella cheese sticks got thumbs up from all as well. Thanks for the great unique dinning experience. We did not take pictures the food pulled us in.
Great beer selection. They are still understaffed, so be prepared to wait for service. They used to have great fish and chips, but they have changed the preparation and is not nearly as good any more. Good salads though
Well, it WAS Glendale. So there was that. Nice wait staff, chicken sandwich special was large and tasted great. Nice fries, too. Worth a visit.
Perfect place to hang out with friends and family. Recommend. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
