"I’m from Texas and have been missing Texas BBQ so was excited to see Texas pantry. However, I walked away still missing Texas BBQ. Came in ready for some brisket. Was given a menu that had brisket on it so was so ready for it so ordered it. Paid for our meals and the lady went to see how long it would be she came back and said there’s no brisket until dinner. So in a hurry not being rushed by any means by the lady, I ordered chicken tenders. They were great but was not what I wanted after thinking I was having brisket. My partner had pulled pork and pork and apple sausage. The pulled pork was dry which was weird being there was about 100 ml of juice in the bottom of her container. She said she didn’t taste apple at all in the sausage. The coleslaw was good but I’ve never seen Texas coleslaw like that before. The waffle fries were good and my partner had onion rings and said they were great. Maybe having a lunch time menu and a dinner menu would be good if all parts of the one menu I was given is not available at all times. Maybe that was the only thing that isn’t available at lunch who knows. If you’re a Texan looking for Texas BBQ you’re obviously ordering brisket. Will try again before we head off next week for the brisket."

"What a wonderful spot! Rather than spend a day touring distilleries, hubby and I popped in to Society for whisky flights. We found tremendous service, knowledgeable staff, a cozy atmosphere, and an impressively extensive list (including half pours if you're in the mood to sample off the provided platters). We're only here for a week, but we'll be back in."

"First of all, I wanna say that this Japanese restaurant in Battery Point is the best Wanted to have some Japanese food, and man, who had known we could find some hidden gem We read the review before coming here (that said a Japanese friend of someone recommened this place . Off we went and we truly loved it. Food was amazing, not to forget about the hospitality from the staff. The restaurant itself was tiny but the decorations were very Japanese-styled (oh the neko/cat cushions were so cute aww . The top 3 food we would love to recommend: Squid Karaage, Sukiyaki, and Nasu Dengaku. (Black sesame ice cream was also . Best eat in Hobart!!! xx Definitely recommend this place. 10/10!!"
