Great local cafe and an awesome place to people watch in the summer during rush hour. Been here for a while. The food and ambiance were better back in the day, with a cooler hip fun team of people. It was opened at night with live music and fun people hanging out. That is all gone since it was sold. But still a good place. Food is still good but a little smaller and feels more measured. What Suni A doesn't like about Elcy's Cafe:
Jason P 's review of 9/13/2014 is spot on! The food was disgusting at best. The smoothie had absolutely no taste, probably because it was 95% water and ice. If you 're going to pay that much for a smoothie you should get something besides icy water! It 's very much worth it to patronize Daryl 's Pastries 102 Keswick Ave. (215) 886-6656 View all feedback.
The best spot in Glenside for a delicious sandwich and coffee. Staff are always friendly food is always great. The atmosphere is amazing, love that it's right next to septa
Always a bright spot of my day when I stop by Elcy's on my way to work to get one of their delicious sandwiches. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The coffee, despite its being in carafes, is always hot and I appreciate that they support a local coffee company. Even more impressive to me is that for a small business they are committed to sustainable packaging and supporting local vendors.

Even more, for a small business like this to provide recyclable and compostable paper products seals the deal for me.
Excellent coffee espresso, nice staff, cute location highly recommend!
Love this place. Great coffee, yummy food, friendly folks. We especially love sitting outside at the tables in the early morning and letting our son watch the trains go by while we have coffee. Delightful place!
