"A friend took me here saying it was a really great place. 1st impressions is a well spaced, clean, airy and welcoming. Menu extensive. Staff very pleasant and efficient. We had popadoms, red diced onion mint sauce for entree, chicken tikka masala, fish curry, rice, garlic naan, a kingfisher, mango lassie Diet Coke. The curries were delicious, medium strength so not over powering, lots of fish and chicken. Rice fluffy, naan a little greasy but maybe that was because of the type. Would definitely recommend it and will be going again…go try it…total bill $64:00"

"Nice warm atmosphere on a cold wet night. The menu was a little surprising as lots of items weren't traditional English grub. Salt & Lemon Pepper Squid for example. We ordered Yorkshire Pudding with gravy as an entree to share. Pudding was a good size for sharing. However when we cut it in half, the base was about 2cm thick and quite solid; not the light airy pudding we expected. It was also cold in the middle. I suspect a microwave was involved. For main course I had Cod & Chips with Mushy Peas. The cod was okay but a little dry. The batter was overlooked and very crispy, not like English batter at all. My friend had the pork roll with roast potatoes, apple sauce and crackling. The pork roll was like a thin foot long sub and was quite nice. The crackling was oversalted to the point of being inedible. We both left half of our meals. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and the service was good but we won't be returning due to quality of food."
