"I had Half Baked for awhile and finally aligned the stars; my husband and I stayed in a few times for breakfast and it was nice delicious)! Today, after the obligatory fun at work, I stopped for lunch and a donut--no regret! Absolutely worth the ride or stop for a good meal or tantalizing treat!"

"Since Beauport originally opened, I’ve always enjoyed the energy, service, and ambiance but have often been left underwhelmed when it came to the food. Never a “bad” meal, just not one worth writing about… Not this time! Everything was perfect. The octopus appetizer was some of the best I’ve ever had and the black garlic purée absolutely boosted it to the next level. The chowder finally tasted like home (local Gloucester resident! , the crab cakes were robust and flavorful, and the desserts were unique and brought you straight to flavor town. Last but not least, the server was knowledgeable, pleasant, and put up with all of our questions with grace and understanding. He worked well with the kitchen to time our courses perfectly. Honestly, not one constructive note. I’m excited to frequent there more often!"

"This is one of our tried and true favorites. The service is friendly and helpful. Grace, who is often our waitress is truly fantastic! The food is creative but not overdone. We love the cod, the catfish picata, arugula salad, the shrimp tacos and the key lime tart and warm chocolate cake with ice cream are a delicious way to end a great meal. The drinks are well made too. The room is cozy and often hopping but quiets down before 9:00. Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian menu and plenty of good items. Kid-friendliness: Our kids really like this place too."

"Seaport Grille is a favorite of me and my family. We have celebrated many occasions there, or just for a quick lunch. Yesterday, Christine was our server, pleasant and friendly, as well as Ellen in the past, also welcoming and warm. We had everything from oysters and steamers to lobsters. Yesterday we stopped for a late lunch. The drinks are great, the Calamari was crispy and hot with a delicious diving sauce. No marinara sauce grateful. More like a chipotle dip, with a lot of banana peppers. We shared a delicious burger and a turkey bacon club. It was a wonderful experience as usual, with beautiful rustic landscape of lobster and fishing boats. Treat yourself to a fantastic meal."
