"As I like diving in the area of Attersee I am always coming back to stay/eat at the Bachtaverne. They have a very good kitchen, the interior is a nice traditional place with a modern part. "Very warm atmosphere. In this restaurant you feel comfortable and relaxed. The walls are covered with old posters of famous artists such as Andy Warhol, with the announcement of their exhibitions that took place in this area. Wooden tables and benches, vaulted ceilings make unrepeatable atmosphere. The owner of this nice restaurant prepares dishes together with her husband. Very tasty and every day they have different menus. Soup made from seafood from their grandparents recipe was so wonderful I will never forget it! And of course, great selection of good wines. I recommend this place, it is part of the wonderful Gmunden!"

"I found this place thanks to TripAdvisor and I think it's pretty good. The garden where you can eat in summer is really nice and cool and the food is characteristic and delicious. The staff is polite and speaks English. I recommend this place to anyone who wants something typical and welcoming. If you decide to go there, I suggest you try desserts that were the best part of the meal for me."
