The Mamaya Sushi doesn't look that exciting from the street. But appearances are deceiving. One of the few good sushi restaurants in Gothenburg. Highly recommended!

Excellent sushi and poke bowls, very good value for money. Speedy service and a very cheap meal overall especially considering its in Gothenburg.

A hidden pearl close to Vasastan with small stair down to the restaurant. It is a quite small restaurant with around 30 seating divided most 4 people at one table. The restaurant is nicely decorated and there is the takeaway ability as well. The cashier desk is outside the seating area with a smaller space to wait. The restroom is fresh and clean. The service and the prices are good. When it comes to the food it is a wow experience with the combo of the flavours! Just deliscious!! Dont miss out to try the salmon poke Bowl, good price and generous amount of food. I would have wanted to see the possibility to order a small pokebowl, half the amount served in the original one cause it is a shame to leave so much food if you dont eat all of it and it isnt always you have the possibility to choose a ”doggybag”

Best sushi in the neighborhood! Love the bowls and barbecued salmon nigiri. Cozy place but always pick it up as ready on time.
