one of the best Turkish restaurants at all, very cozy, especially for cold days. Wonderful eating, great wine, nice, reserved service, also with child ok, although not too spacious. always like, still from student times in the 90s and also today. View all feedback.
What Della McKenzie doesn't like about Taverna Ouzeri:
despite renaming taverna ouzeri in restaurant zorbas: this local has simply not earned more than the five guests who were there in the evening of our visit. extremely thirsty farmer salad for 7,90 euro as an appetizer, but meat to the main course good, absolutely nothing-speaking herb salad. in the calculation of the old one-of-the-control-before-trick: everything was only handwritten on the block, on our demand for... Great food, not expensive and just enought to be fed. Most of the meals costs around the starters are good. The atmosphere is calm, with a spacious room. It seems possible to eat late -for a german restaurant- as the owner and his family...eat in the restaurant at the end of the service...
Fantastic turkish food prepared in a clay oven. Eat your way through all the starters, try the excellent lamb choices and don't forget to wash it all down with some Rake.
Despite renaming taverna ouzeri in restaurant zorbas: this local has simply not earned more than the five guests who were there in the evening of our visit. extremely thirsty farmer salad for 7,90 euro as an appetizer, but meat to the main course good, absolutely nothing-speaking herb salad. in the calculation of the old one-of-the-control-before-trick: everything was only handwritten on the block, on our demand for a cash deposit the cash was then broken at once. what should you say? No wonder that Greek is standing in this tax morale where it stands. that the otherwise very friendly owner for a 0.2-liter bottle ouzo (purchasing price below three euro) proud 12.90 euro)!(calculated, only for the sake of completeness. we will never go back. signomi - this is sorry.
I have to say: no, that is not lacking. No, it's not a friesfrett stinking bude. yes, it is not entirely what you expect to go into a Greek restaurant:wood tones instead of lime, wooden tables instead of white cover and paper napkins instead of table decoration - and yet Greek music in the background. I was with a friend eating and we were the only people in the restaurant, it was a Monday evening. the service was extremely friendly, very accommodating and rather inconspicuous in the background. no eternal question and no eternal smoker breaks before the door. everything as I would feel comfortable. We ordered a grill plate that was apparently a bit swirled. instead of gyros, souvlaki and bifteki (grill plate one person) there were chicken fillet, souvlaki and bifteki (theoretically half a grill plate for several people). we both felt this as not bad and rejoiced about the food: well made rice, very well roasted meat and nice spices. otherwise you get something more furdry when smelling. everything was extremely juicy. now, unfortunately, eating was rather sweet and also the herb salad that was added was more in order than totally delicious. After our two beer and eating there was for us the obligatory (very good) ouzo after the offer of the waiter and we left both with approx. 20€ less the place.Factory: delicious food, super service - and unfortunately the invite makes the impression a little hot-smooth guided to be. but who cares about the paper deck when you feel extremely comfortable all night and we felt that there - we felt very comfortable.
Were breathed due to the good reviews here at the gree and were bitterly disappointed! We were the only guests, the entire staff (never older than at the beginning 20) had set themselves in front of the local on the way and sat outside...We entered the local, sat us and were kindly greeted. while we waited for the drinks, the streak was reincarnated and the funny group of the hired slowly dissolved. (Did we disturb you?) Ambiente like an old eckkneipe with an ancient mobilar, nix Greek tavern...Do you only need students? we waited for our currents...The service disappeared in the kitchen and immediately turned to the pots and pfannen. chef didn't seem to give it. (Of course, the whole local eclectic to old frying fat) which then came was an insult for every Greek local.Giros from the pan! greasy and absolutely tough! garnished with pommes...Sorry, but so bad I never ate - eating deserves the name "Gyros" not!!!The starving again.
