Restaurante O Silverio - Gois

The restaurant we were recommended was closed so we looked around and found this family-run facility, which serves typical regional Portuguese cuisine. we were there for lunch and they served the dishes of the day for euro, the main dish (fish or meat,). a drink and an expresso included! the portions were good and the eating tasty. the dessert menu was limited because it was winter, but what we ordered a disc cake and a kind of pudding in a glass were good. when the bill came, we noticed that they had not accused us of desserts (which were about euro). when we mentioned this, the owner added another euro to the entire euro. we were surprised and have actually asked the low prices, but the owner and his family just made a sweat and laughed! we were so impressed by their generous attitude that we left a tipp! really good value for money! tips: the restaurant is located on the ground floor of a series of apartments directly opposite the school of gois. they do not accept credit cards.
