What can I say growing up in the seventies and eighties and visiting the Gold Coast as kid - QT pulls off a retro chic of an era that never quite was It
The good: very cool 1950s lobby, incredibly polite and helpful staff, great location a couple of blocks from the beach.
We stayed at QT for our honeymoon right around the time they had just finished all their renovations.
