"My only regret is it took me 3 coffees to find Black Coffee Lyrics. After that it was the only place. The staff are friendly, decor very cool, the coffee is brilliant. It's a bit difficult to find and when they say they open for breakfast at 8am thats more of a guidline, which is a shame."

"What a memorable evening! Greeted by welcoming friendly staff and given a beautiful view overlooking the beach. The food was amazing!! 5 out of 5 for sure!! So much detail went into both the entree and main, a testament to the chef and his crew. The flavours were mind blowing! For all you “foodies” out there, I implore you to eat at this restaurant, you will be so happy you did. From SA and can’t wait to get back to Coolangatta to eat here again."

"Small cafe set up for neighbourhood clients. Very relaxed atmosphere, pleasant staff offering drinks and breakfast. As one comment said they could be understaffed when five arrive for breakfast. But I am thinking extra staff in today’s environment wouldn’t be financially a good decision . Not a lot of options nearby, I would go back"

"Absolutely brilliant meal! Myself and my partner shared the meal for 2 and it was amazing. Service was fantastic. I couldn’t decide on a drink so samples were brought to me for me to decide. "The food was decent and we enjoy its. But the customer service was a great let down. The server looks like she does not want to be there. I understand that the place is busy and she may not be paid enough, but some life and a smile does not hurt. There are way better places with better service on the Gold coast."
