"What a memorable evening! Greeted by welcoming friendly staff and given a beautiful view overlooking the beach. The food was amazing!! 5 out of 5 for sure!! So much detail went into both the entree and main, a testament to the chef and his crew. The flavours were mind blowing! For all you “foodies” out there, I implore you to eat at this restaurant, you will be so happy you did. From SA and can’t wait to get back to Coolangatta to eat here again."

"Our expectations were high when we read the previous reviews. When we arrived, the menu and specials of the day further raised our hopes. And we were not disappointed when the food arrived. Authentic fresh Japanese food right here in Surfers...authentic down to the beverages!Sashimi was fresh and thick cut. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Their fried items (Spider Handroll) came piping hot from the kitchen. This family restaurant hails from Osaka, and so we had to order the gyozas...and it was amazing. It still had the "juices" from the fillings inside the gyoza, which is not an everyday occurence!Service was friendly and efficient as well.We'd definitely recommend this restaurant as a must-eat!"

"Alfred's diner in mermaid beach has Great Burritos!!! I highly recommend the falafel one on the lunch menu as It tastes so so good!!! Its pretty cheap to eat there and has a great little put foot eating area! Must give it a try if you haven't already!"

"Had a beautiful lunch with a large group of friends. Ignore the sour-puss reviews this is a gorgeous setting amongst a lush tropical oasis. The menu is small but has a variety of delicious choices, we found ourselves eyeing each others dishes and will be...back to sample them all. The desserts are luxurious so save room. Our group of 30 received fantastic personal service from Chrystal which is hard to do with a group as big as ours and we will all definitely be back."
