This is a great little restaurant come cafe. The small children's play area allows mothers some breathing room to relax and enjoy their food. On my last visit my grand daughter had a good time playing while we ate some good, interesting, freshly cooked food. I had the hamburger and my daughter the curry. We were both well pleased and will continue to visit. View all feedback.
What Rick K doesn't like about Chanoyu:
My wife and I went to Chanoyu for a small takeaway order. There were 4 people ahead of us in line, but it still took over 20 minutes to get served despite there being 4 staff members working. They seemed to be very slow and inattentive. The matcha creme puff that we ordered was just okay. My wife, who is Japanese, requested a takeaway order but received her matcha latte in a cup instead. In total, it took 30 minutes... View all feedback.
In total, it took 30 minutes for us to receive a drink and a donut. We were very dissatisfied with the service and the quality of the food. We will not be returning and will look for another place to dine in the future.
There is a sign outside indicating that the property is available for lease. It would be a shame if the guys cannot renew their lease. This cafe is lovely and serves delicious food with a Japanese influence. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I hope they bring back the croque monsieur. Good luck with the negotiations.
My boyfriend and I frequently visit this restaurant in the mornings for an açai smoothie, and it never fails to impress. He absolutely loves it. On this occasion, we decided to have breakfast here as well, and it was a pleasant experience. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming.
Friendly and welcoming staff. The food was good but the drinks was quite average. Both the iced matcha and hojicha latte had a taste watery.
This is a regular stop for morning coffee and breakfast. The menu is Japanese fusion, so some of the dishes are really interesting. The service is typically Japanese being efficient and very friendly. To top it off their prices are very reasonable, give it a go.
