"More than schnitzel. We were reluctant to try it because it advertized itself as 'schnitzelhouse ', and from experience this is not a good thing (except if it includes the traditional venison). The menu has many other items on it. The decor is casual and nice, with a large mural on one wall which give it a lot of character.<br/ <br/ The reuben sandwich contained the traditional corned beef, even though the menu indicated it was Montréal smoked beef. It was good, and the accompanying fries and coleslaw were excellent.<br/ <br/ A major feature of this restaurant is the house made pies. Both the pecan and the chocolate peanut-butter pies were excellent."

"Visiting from the UK and staying in one of the local cottages. Decided to visit here after a long day hiking. Slightly anxious based on recent review but thought we’d give it a go. I’m glad we did. The crispy beef was tasty and mouthwatering! We had it with s&s chicken balls and bean sprouts. The beef was so nice we decided to go back the following night. The restaurant seemed quite busy and the staff were friendly. I’d recommend trying this place out."
