Stopped for a lunch here on the way to Almourol castle. Had the dish of the day fried cod with fried potato medallions and lots of onion. It’s a bit pricey for a day-dish in Portugal On the other hand the portion is huge and really delicious. House wine is a total disaster, so if you are a bigger group, definitely go for bottled wine. The steak we ate was terrible, both in taste and how tough it was considering we couldn't even properly cut it with a serrated knife. The food had too much salt, however the rest of the seasoning was good. The staff was nice and the space had a charming decor.
