Coffee and snacks great! Stopped here for afternoon coffee and cakes both excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely setting on the wharf.

"A very disappointing experience for a vegetarian is to find bacon in your purchase. On asking 'for a vegetarian pasty and is this vegetarian'!! not happy at all.Money was refunded. All staff must know product and ingredients. Lots of people have made a choice or maybe it's cultural or dietary required.Very upset and distressing experience"

"Dined here again today with 25 others. As usual the food was fabulous. It isn't very often you can order a medium rare steak in a pub and it is cooked to perfection. Nice to see the veggie bar/salad bar back and the veggie bar in particular was fantastic. No overcooked grey cauliflower here. Big kudos to the chef. The waitresses were amazing. The food was delivered promptly and no wrong orders were received. Dishes were cleared quickly, definitely great teamwork. The dining room was packed yet everyone was served promptly with the minimum of fuss. Well done everyone, we will be back."

"We have lunch at Cafe de Carlo often and it is always a good experience. A small biscuit is always served with coffee and tea. There is an outside covered in area as well. Plenty of yummy cakes and biscuits on show. Quiche and salad is great."

"During our stay in the town we enjoyed nice warm coffee several times at this very pleasant and well located café. We were very impressed by the desserts cabinet full of cheesecake and other delights and also by the creative display on the wall showing the sizes of pizzas they sell: R L XL F. Next visit we will certainly try a pizza. The staff are friendly and the costs are reasonable."
