Wounderful taste and briyani.. Had a non veg lunch. .but the quality wise it's awesome. But always the table is full of family croud. Happiness with full stomac...

Visited with friends on Saturday for lunch. Food was good tasty. Had been to this chain at Chennai Erode. Kept up the same expectation. Staff were courteous.

"Had a great experience. We had Spicy Mushroom and Manchow soup and both were good. 4/5. For starters we had Crackling Spinach, Spring Rolls, and Dimsum with Broccoli with Cashewnut. All were good but the stand out was Crackling Spinach with nice light crisp with salt and a tinch of sugar which was great a 5/5 that I would say must have item. Even if you don’t like Spinach, you will love this dish.<br/ <br/ For main course we had Thai Spicy Rice, Yue MEIN Noodle, Chilli garlic noodle, and Roti Canai. We also had Stuffed egg plant and mix veg cashew gravy. The stand out is Stuffed Egg Plant gravy a must have at 5/5. The rest were good. Roti canai was a bit disappointing. It was more of parota and kurma than Roti canai. I would certainly visit this place again."

"Another must try place for carnivores..... Mangalam Hotel Salem Another must try place in Salem is the Mangalam Hotel in the New Bus Stand Road. We were driving down from Kerala and as usual I was in a carnivore state of mind. My better half searched and found reference to Mangalam Hotel from Bangalore Foodies Club. We called up the number given to make sure the hotel was open and available at 6:00 pm. They have two branches each a distance of 2 km apart. The second one has a good parking and AC facilities but was closed. At 6:00 we were the only customers. However the staff was already expecting us and hit the ground running. We ordered Veach Parotta, Mutton chukka this was a different form and had a thick gravy , pichi pottu chicken shredded chicken fry, kalki egg. Kalki egg was very different. Here eggs are poured over a heater griddle and then taken off and allowed to cook in its own heat. This makes the exterior omletty while the core is moist and soft. Amazing. Also had 3 dosas. This also came with a complementary chicken and mutton gravy. After all this and packing the chicken and mutton for home the bill came to almost 900. The Veach parotta is this cousin of the Rumali Roti with oil. Black pepper was the hero of every dish and opened up our sinuses nicely. The flavor of each and everything was phenomenal and the service absolutely brilliant. oth the gravies were excellent and were good combos for the dosas and veach parotta. Afternoon has the option of a meals and chicken and mutton biryani which is very popular. Evening is only snack varieties like parottas and dosas and meals/biryani is not available."

"Food was good and tasty. Mutton dish was ok but chicken which they recommend could have been better. When settling bill, they said the owner of the restaurant took all the cash and hence they did not had any changes. It was embarrassing for me...who gave 2000 rupee note to settle the bill. Even my bill was 900 and the cashier insisted for exact bill amount by cash or suggested to use the card. Which I felt is not good on their part. Otherwise all is well with this place."
