montis is an iconic gosford sign and eating is amazing. the family business is busy in the rule, but the line moves fast and the staff always make them happy to see them. thanks to choppy and the band I can taste the chip salt as I write this xoxo View all feedback.

Rude staff and please change your oil. I agree with the post below, the staff act like they want to be any where but working at Montis ashore. I had Barramundi and potato scallops. The oil taste on the scallops was terrible and they were actually burnt. The fish was ok, but the batter was soggy so I didn't eat eat it. It would have to be the worst fish and chip shop food I have had in the last few years. View all feedback.

Got fish and chips here yesterday, probably the worst chips I have ever had. Not sure if they were recooked or the oil used was old, but they were just inedible...
