After a long enjoyable afternoon walk in sunny Goslar I appreciated outside seating with the view to the market square. Apple strudel I ordered was delicious and the portion was so big that I didn't need a dinner that day. Service was precise and fast

My wife and I chose to sit outside the Historisches Café Am Markt with a cake and a coffee whilst we watched the mid day clock chimes at the Scheifer Hotel. Cake was delicious and coffee was notably nice. Service was prompt, but not many...smiles from the lady taking the order

Solid German staples. No English translation for menu and limited English spoken by waitress. Food was good and served in timely manner. No credit or debit card facilities however. Which is fun if you've only got euro on you and we're expecting to pay...by card. Seems silly when you market yourself as a historic tourist cafe

Real HOT apple strudel with ice, while watching the life on the market square in front of the medieval skyline, what better place to spend the afternoon in between sightseeings
