"The minute you walk in the door you know you're in for a great time. Even at 6pm, the place was very busy in the bar area. There is an atmosphere that's hard to put into words but it's an atmosphere you only get in...good Aussie pubs...and we loved it! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Booking for the Bistro on Fridays and Saturdays is an absolute must as there is usually a live music band well there was when we visited but they don't get going till later. The food was surprising very good with generous serves. My 200gram filet steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare and at $25 with the ubiquitous chips and salad was excellent value. All four of us enjoyed our meals. A couple of minor points. Chairs are very basic and uncomfortable Cafe style chairs and tables are just tables. The ladies all thought the wine by the glass prices were on the higher side but maybe that's the pay off for reasonably priced food. We highly recommend the Hibernian Hotel Bistro for a great meal and a great Aussie experience. Will be back,"

"We came to this cafe for lunch, my husband ordered the seafood pasta, which he said was great, I had the salmon, avocado and prawn salad, I felt for the price, the prawns should have been fresh Big prawns, which they weren’t, and the salad...dressing seemed to be bought in, which is fine, but feel this one tasted cheap. In saying that the place was very busy, staff were lovely, and coffee great just needs a little tweaking with some of the meals"

"The food was delicious, i had the fish and chips and hubby had the parma, we both actually thought that this would be some cheap you get what you pay for meal but we where oh so very wrong, the meals where so freshly made that it definitely deserves the 5 stars if not more"

"Had take away here on our first night. Is small menu served from a Baine Marie the naan was Cooked fresh in a tandoor oven. The curries were tasty and hearty. The guy serving was friendly and welcoming good option for a quick meal... right next to highway exit if your after a good feed on a stop too..."

"It's been a good 10 years since I've eaten here. The place looks amazing and the prices for food are certainly reasonable. The buckets of beer are also great value and cheaper than what you'd pay at other places. Food tasted amazing, had the meatlovers medium pizza, which was a very generous serving . Missed out on 5 stars, unfortunately, as they failed to bring out the garlic bread that I ordered."
