"The minute you walk in the door you know you're in for a great time. Even at 6pm, the place was very busy in the bar area. There is an atmosphere that's hard to put into words but it's an atmosphere you only get in...good Aussie pubs...and we loved it! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Booking for the Bistro on Fridays and Saturdays is an absolute must as there is usually a live music band well there was when we visited but they don't get going till later. The food was surprising very good with generous serves. My 200gram filet steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare and at $25 with the ubiquitous chips and salad was excellent value. All four of us enjoyed our meals. A couple of minor points. Chairs are very basic and uncomfortable Cafe style chairs and tables are just tables. The ladies all thought the wine by the glass prices were on the higher side but maybe that's the pay off for reasonably priced food. We highly recommend the Hibernian Hotel Bistro for a great meal and a great Aussie experience. Will be back,"

"Eggs Benedict great but slightly under cooked, pleasant staff, served a hot chocolate instead of chai, apparently that's what they are being provided - said 3 people have complained about it before, perhaps change brand of chai then? Overall a positive experience, was very busy by the time we left and a bit noisy and clearly very popular"

"We always go past here when ever possible, even detouring if possible. Best beef massaman we have had, well priced and fast service. Great friendly staff Would book ahead of want a seat, usually book out when we go there."

"My friends and I were after a Chinese meal and came across this restaurant while walking around the town, and we were very pleasantly surprised.The restaurant is located next door to the Soldiers Club, and is just off the main street. The tables are located at the rear of the building, so walk right inside.The quality and variety of meals available is a definite "step up" from a typical country Chinese restaurant. The owner, and her staff, were very friendly and helpful.We'll be back for another meal next time we visit Goulburn."

"Fantastic pizza options and always greeted with a smile! We are pretty new to town and were stoked to find Goulburn had this classic style pizza shop, so it quickly became our favourite takeaway spot. There's loads on the menu and customising is easy so it's an easy decision for when friends and family visit. Thanks for the delicious food!"
