"The minute you walk in the door you know you're in for a great time. Even at 6pm, the place was very busy in the bar area. There is an atmosphere that's hard to put into words but it's an atmosphere you only get in...good Aussie pubs...and we loved it! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Booking for the Bistro on Fridays and Saturdays is an absolute must as there is usually a live music band well there was when we visited but they don't get going till later. The food was surprising very good with generous serves. My 200gram filet steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare and at $25 with the ubiquitous chips and salad was excellent value. All four of us enjoyed our meals. A couple of minor points. Chairs are very basic and uncomfortable Cafe style chairs and tables are just tables. The ladies all thought the wine by the glass prices were on the higher side but maybe that's the pay off for reasonably priced food. We highly recommend the Hibernian Hotel Bistro for a great meal and a great Aussie experience. Will be back,"

"Stopped in for coffee. Was fantastic. Campos coffee. Service was fast for takeaway. Very pleasant staff. Food looked great, didn't have time, travelling through. Recommend the coffee though."

"Warm and clean on a cold night. Beautifully cooked and presented meals. Very generous sized meals. The fillet Mignon and crumbed lamb cutlets were excellent. Paired well with a Clare valley Shiraz Tempranillo. Great ambiance in this older style building. So good- we came back for breakfast. Breakfast was generous and hearty."

"Had take away here on our first night. Is small menu served from a Baine Marie the naan was Cooked fresh in a tandoor oven. The curries were tasty and hearty. The guy serving was friendly and welcoming good option for a quick meal... right next to highway exit if your after a good feed on a stop too..."

"This is a friendly spacious venue which observes all the Covid restrictions. There is the usual range of pub or club food but it is well presented and well cooked. Obviously as a club you have to sign in but this is made easy by...the helpful staff. Great place to pop in and have a meal."
