We took lunch in El Medano and found that the prices were quite a bit lower than in the more touristy locations. Prices are quoted for half-portions at this restaurant, but if you can agree on a dish that you both like, it is better value to choose a full portion and share it. What Phatkev doesn't like about Plaza Roja:
Visited for Sunday lunch. Unfriendly waiter sat me right at the entrance in the cold wind. He obviously was more interested in making the place look busy than my comfort. I had to move inside after my starter it was so cold. Food was mediocre. Menu del dia doesn’t include bread, postre or café but it would have been nice to have been offered. I will not return. Delicious food, nice and smiling staff and great location. Not very big which I like and quick service. Great when alone or with friends and family.
