pretty good place has a few pizzas and some appetizers for a bigger party. pizza was buffalo chicken, sausage and kale, and pfefferoni and everything was very good. not the best I had in connecticut, but really solid. apps were their meatballs, garlic bread and salads. portioning might have been a bit bigger, but for the luck we had lots of pizza. total good experience! my friend and I went to dinner tonight. I just wanted to drink, but I could only understand about a waitress. I've been calling linguini. big mistake. clams were full of sand and mud. I can understand that they're coming from the sea, but I wanted to at least clean seafood. my pasta had dirt and sand inside and it was repulsive. Food and drinks were excellent. our waitress, jessica was excellent. Salads, homemade dresses were lovely. the appetizer antipasto and the cheese plate were delicious. we had drinks, appetizers, salads, desserts and coffee, and the bill was very reasonable. we will return definitiw.
We all had a wonderful time. our server was great and eating amazing. Oh, this mustels!
I look forward to trying this restaurant and celebrating my daughter's birthday. they never noticed in the service when we all drank our drinks and water, we had to ask for more. they forgot the side I asked. eating was good, but not amazing, I had more sweet in my court than gnocchi. when we finished eating, we sat there for approx. 8 minutes waiting for someone to notice until then, we just wanted to go so we could find an icebox for dessert. the atmosphere was nice, but not a place where I have to go back.
Beautiful inside. Food was excellent. All four of the main dishes we ordered were delicious. Service was very slow (but nice) despite restaurant being 75% empty. Would go again for a long relaxing meal. Would not go if needed quick dinner.
