The atmosphere was very friendly. . The owners were kind and informative. They had real music not just the radio. The food was excellent as was the desserts. It was clean but not air conditioned. I wonder if it was because of the time of the day or the season (end of May, which should be the beginning of the traveling season), but Kokomo's offered no baked treats at all.
