"We stopped in Greenwood for a visit and regretfully it was before the museum/visitor center was open for the season. Lady was nice and gave us a walking tour map of the town. Lots of history and some nice little boutique stores, bakery and restaurant. Well worth the stop."

"A great find on #3. If you're headin through Grand Forks and have an empty stomach, skip past those greasy grub shacks like A&W or DQ and make your way to the Wooden Spoon.<br/ <br/ The bistro is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the food is exceptional!<br/ <br/ I can Not wait to go back for more. But hey, when the food is reasonably priced, well portioned, and very tasty, could You!?"

"The Best Burgers in BC. Winners of a Vancouver Province newspaper poll for the best burger in the province of British Columbia. That is a huge accomplishment for a little place in a small town when you consider all the other restaurants that could have been in that readers poll. These burgers are absolutely addictive. I stop for a Sheila Burger any tiime I get into Grand Forks."

"First time at Babalooz and we're so happy we tried out this small, gem of a restaurant. The couple that run the place only took it over in May 2017 but they are caring professionals who know the meaning of hospitality. If you are looking for fast food, this restaurant may not be for you. If you're on vacation as we are and are ok to have a drink and wait for quality food preparation, then you'll be as satisfied as we were. We had a very tender steak that was perfectly seasoned and grilled. We were actually surprised to get this upscale, high end meal in such a small town. The chef is very talented and friendly as was his wife. We also had the brie, apple and walnut salad with fresh made strawberry vinaigrette. That dressing was outstanding! It was presented very creatively like a piece of art in a bowl. We were very happy to have the chance for fine dining in Christina Lake. We definitely recommend Babalooz."
