I love the ambiance, the service, the food, and the drinks! This is an amazing place to visit, and I was impressed to see the creative owner interacting with guests. I even noticed him helping out personally. I will definitely be returning because there are so many dishes on the menu that I want to try! Thank you, Baxter! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about One Love Rum Kitchen:
Caribbean focused bar and grill. Music much too loud for reasonable conversation. Good beer selection from local brewery. Rum based drinks mostly. No **** Mary 's or Screwdrivers. Had the fish tacos. Easily split between two. Two huge pieces of fish with a plop of white rice and black beans. Would not return. Not our style. Servers were from excellent to dismissively rote (we had 3 different ones). Unsure who got cre... View all feedback.
We all have bad days, and we all have busy days. When food takes more than 2 hours to come and is awful then unfortunately you get a bad review. I’d never come here again. Nothing was worth it. Your porch also needs some lights and better management apparently. Go somewhere else you’ll be happier and be prepared to spend over $100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

The service at this restaurant was terrible. We were seated right away, but after waiting for 20-30 minutes without a server, we had to get up from our table to refill our water and even look at the menu, while other tables around us were being served. When we finally caught the attention of someone who appeared to be the manager, our order was taken but not written down. We were then informed that they were short-staffed because some employees had returned to college. We waited another 30-45 minutes for our food, and everything arrived except for mine, as they had forgotten to place the order in the kitchen. To top it off, in order to get our check, we had to get up from our table again. Absolutely no stars.
It seems like there may be new owners, as my experience was disappointing. The food was cold, as if it had come straight from a freezer, and it was overpriced for what we received. Our waitress was quite young and struggled with her English. When I mentioned that our meal wasn't satisfactory, she just nodded and said, "Okay." The $10 children's quesadilla was nothing more than processed cheese singles and came with some frozen fries. I would recommend saving your money and dining elsewhere.
