Sammy's Pizza Tavern - Grand Rapids

What Rusted Rose likes about Sammy's Pizza Tavern:
First time back to Sammy’s in years (we just moved back to the area). It was an extremely busy Thursday evening but we just sat at the bar. Pizza took less than 30 min to get to us. I filled up on salad bar while we waited.It was very noisy, however service was great and pizza was fantastic just as I remember. The remodel is fresh open. View all feedback.

What Tammie McInnis doesn't like about Sammy's Pizza Tavern:
I’ve always thought they are pretty average when it comes to their food. Nothing really stands out to me that would make the food any better then what you make at home including the spaghetti sauce.The clam chowder however had an interesting spin.Sauce is to salty tasting.Portion size very reasonable for the price.Nice atmosphere.
