"We used this restaurant for lunch prior to visiting the nearby motor museum (excellent itself) and had a lovely lunch. Buffet was spectacular with an array of fish, meats and salads and the steak was tender and tasty. Service and dining room were excellent with...lots of other diners. Terrific value for money though we thought the bottle of cider a touch expensive. All in all I would recommend this."

"My wife and I greatly enjoyed a delicious dinner at La Violette! If you find yourself in the area (and if not, go to the area, it's worth it) be sure to try this small, english speaking and incredibly friendly restaurant. We had the artisinal...sausages and the burger, excellent quality food with delicious fries. Be sure not to skip on the aperitif (the Punch is highly recommended) or on the desert (the intense chocolate crepe is out of this world). To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable!"
