"We used the service of Chef Sandra for the catering of our film shoot for 2 days, from morning to late afternoon and she ravished us with her exquisite cuisine the whole two days with Portuguese specialties, treats, sweets and on demand meals. The food was beyond excellent: it was healthy, special, perfectly cooked and well served. The whole crew was amazed and happy to work in these conditions, she definitely took a huge part in the success of this production. I warmly recommend her, as not only her cooking is top-notch, but she is also a class A person: she's really nice, warm, very helpful and has perfect manners. Thank you again! And next time I wish to visit the restaurant, I am sure the warm feeling of great food and welcome is the same. AJ"

"We did not get to eat here as the owner was so rude to us we felt we had no choice but to leave. We had a reservation for 5 people but the owner was extremely rude when we arrived as he was expecting 6 people not 5. We were placed at a really large table for 8 people and could not hear each other or speak to each other as it was 2 large rectangular tables put together to make 1 big table. We asked politely if the table could be separated into 2 as there was a large space next to us in the restaurant where the 2nd table would easily fit this caused great upset to the owner and a lot of shouting as he said that it was not possible to separate the tables. He made us feel unwelcome and extremely uncomfortable so we decided to leave. As we left he shouted to the whole restaurant about how unpleasant we were. We were upset and shaken by the whole event. When we returned to where were staying we were told that we were the 3rd group of people that this had happened to in the last 2 weeks. They are now considering removing this restaurant from their list of recommendations. With so many other excellent places to eat in Grandola with lovely staff , this one is best avoided. It is the only restaurant we visited in the area that we had an experience like this in."
