"A great address for good burgers. The welcome is friendly and the decor also. The wait may seem a little long but it really is worth it: a Niagara burger to fall with a steak of the area and an excellent AOP conte (real ingredients for a real good burger). Very good value for money, you are on top, do not change anything."

"This is a good place to go for a long lunch or dinner, particularly if staying at the Mercure, which is just up the hill. A real fire helps the restaurant feel cosy and informal, and the staff are friendly. The food comes in good...portions, and the 10 hour beef is absolutely delicious. Meals are beautifully presented. We had fish pate which was divine, and a sort of superior shepherds pie with shredded beef and a potato topping. The rillets of fish were a tiny bit strange as they were very cold, but the food is generally really tasty. Desserts were huge pieces of chocolate cake with creme anglais or tarte tartine both very nice."

"Went here with a group of 8. Great service and the food was good, we had the ravioli to start which was very filling with a nice cheese sauce, then the steak you choose on the kg on the black board we shared a 1.3kg between 3 of us and was ample, lovely crispy chips, others had the lamb which was also very nice . restaurant a bit dark and dingy as no windows but good service and good food which is the main thing. Great Irish coffee as well! Will definitely be going back."
