"Passing through, the best sides try the onion rings. I loved the dip. The showing off platter with no pulled pork. The potato salad and Mac/cheese . I usually hate the sides. Will return. The waitress was amazing. My son ate all the bread pudding and banana pudding. "Shoal creek is so good! The service and food were both great. I sat at the bar and Ashley was so helpful. She was quick with our order and made really delicious drinks as well as being super friendly and knowledgeable. The Shoal Creek bread was the perfect warm, cheesy appetizer. Can't wait to come back!"

"We celebrated my mother’s birthday and had a really great time! Wil did a very nice job serving us and we went for scallops as an appetizer, the Chilean, Seabass, and the Ahi tuna. We also enjoyed some sides and a great tomato salad. Beautiful piano music in the background and we will certainly return."

"This place is a gem for coffee and breakfast. It sits in a strip shopping center tho inside it looks like an old Italian cafe that's been there for decades. Real nice on the old design construction and eclectic look with the furniture and coffee bar area. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The menu is simple and up on the wall behind them. They have to sizes, small, and medium. No large drinks here. They do have some good fraps. I had the Raspberreto, which is a coffee based frap with raspberry syrup, it was wicked good! Had the sharp espresso shot taste with the slight sweetness of the raspberry syrup. Wife had a cold brew with some caramel syrup. She really liked it. I tried it, wasn't overly sweet, was pretty good as well.The breakfast, the items in the box that we ate to fast to get pictures of, exceptional!! Wife had the bacon and cheddar quiche. Really good. I had the English breakfast pie, an item that looks like a pot pie but has breakfast items in it instead, egg, sausage, tomato, cheese. Was very very good!! Could tell by the look and the taste that these are made either in house or somewhere close, these aren't mass manufactured items bagged and sold, these seem to be fresh items. This is a great place, will definitely stop back in next time we are back on this side of town."

"I feel the need to express the disappointment of our experience on Tuesday night at Mason Dixie. I booked 2 groups at M D for a business dinner, both had reservations well in advance and I was assured they were able to accommodate both groups by the owner. One of our groups had a 90 minute wait for food, and when the food arrived it was inedible. Several people reported needing to cut meatloaf with their steak knife. Our other group tried to get up and leave to eat elsewhere but was literally blocked at the door by waitstaff. Two individuals in this group did not receive their food at all, the entire party was done eating when they decided to cancel their orders and leave hungry. With ample time to prepare, running out of items such as pop is unacceptable. I am disappointed in the fact that you assured me that you were able to accommodate 2 large groups and that was not the case. Whether more training or staff is needed, please be realistic with your abilities to accommodate large groups next time someone inquires. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"
