Found this place on a recent visit to Grass Valley. Great food, wonderful service, a clean and calm atmosphere Loved it.
The best Cappuccino anywhere! Super thick cream! Almost like whipped cream! Great food too!
VERY Italian...VERY liberal with the garlic making the place smell wonderful. Food is just as wonderful...not been disappointed yet

"Hot shakes and cold burgers. Twice in a row lost our orders only to be offered less than adequate food . This time I requested our money back only to be given the run around can 't find the order, can 't provide a refund w/o receipt (can 't make this stuff up). Finally, after it became uncomfortable a refund was provided."

"Best hamburgers still in the grass valley area. It's garlic. Sweet potato fryers should die. And the milkshakes. Not to say anything but good. Good. Friendly service and a wonderful place to eat. And they have some healthy stuff for your important others who may not want to eat burgers. Large square"

"This place was recommended by a friend for great food. The food was ok, but the portion sizes were not. It almost seemed like they were out of food, or scaling back to save money. Sat down and they brought us a basket with about 15 tortilla chips with a small container of salsa. Let me preface by saying there was one other man in the restaurant with his daughter, so they definitely weren’t busy. I finished my drink and waited for a while and I ended up walking up to the counter to ask for a refill and another basket of chips. Not a big deal. the waitress finally came to take our order. My wife ordered loaded nachos and asked for refried beans on the side. She asked for ground beef, but apparently they were out. She asked for other kinds of meat. carne Asada was recommended, so that’s what she chose. I chose two tacos, one with carne asada and one with chicken. When the food arrived, my wife started eating her nachos and realized that it had refried beans they had forgot to leave out and put on the side. We did not want to wait longer, so having it re-done was not an option so she ended up eating some off of the top and avoiding the beans. My tacos consisted mainly of tortilla and shredded lettuce. The experience was a little disappointing as we had higher expectations. The most disappointing part was the check. When I looked at the check, there was an additional 2 dollar charge for the second basket of 15 chips and a 4 dollar additional charge for the Carne Asada, which was only chosen due to them being out of ground beef! Had any of this been communicated to us at any time,It would not have been a problem."

"There is almost a feel of a health food store as you enter Caroline’s, but don’t let that stop you. A couple of racks containing various coffee making paraphernalia sit opposite a large coffee roaster; no doubt responsible for the wide array of coffee bean options which would seem comprehensive in any coffee shop, let alone one nestled just on the edge of town in Grass Valley. The service we received was absolutely wonderful too. Great coffee, Wi-Fi and a large number of comfy seats."

"I rushed here on my lunch break to order a quick snack. The lobby was completely empty and no customers were in the building. The staff member told me I needed a mask to come in. I told him I left it at work and asked if they had an extra I could wear.His response what?s that they were out. I then asked of I could just order from outside the front door and he could walk it outto me. I was again denied. I then asked for the three employees names and they refused to tell them to me. As I closed the doorand walked away in disbelief one of them said ?my name is Tom? and started laughing. I completely understand the mask mandateand respect every business to have their own policy. Unfortunately, will not be supporting this establishment again because ofthe poor customer service and the arrogant attitudes I received from their staff. 1/29/22 @1:25pm if management wants to talk toyour employees."
