"Beautiful campsite in a beautiful area, lots of hiking trails nearby, dramatically beautiful scenery, lovely food (I really recommend the Sunday buffet), and what I liked best: incredibly nice and welcoming people who gave me a ton of tips and advice gave ideas for places to visit. I was here in the winter with only a few people at the campsite. Jeg elsket å være sie I hope I can go back. There is a nice kitchen that can be used, a big common room with TV, three showers and very clean bathrooms. Washing machine and sauna can be used for a small price."

"Just like other recent reviewers have written, the famous Bjerkviking burger is not at all what it used to be. I do not know what changes have been made nor when, but the quality has dropped significantly since the last time I was here and ate the same burger (a few years ago). Today, me and the Mrs ordered the Bjerkviking with expectations of a great tasting burger like before, but what arrived was a sloppy piece of mistreated meat between some mass produced hamburger bread of the kind you get in Norwegian grocery stores. The meat was also the same kind as what's found in freezers in grocery stores. The meat tasted and appeared to be steam cooked, not grilled or fried. It probably wasn't, but it sure wasn't prepared the right way. The burger did not taste bad, it just didn't taste anything. The fries were of the low quality kind, and were not fried properly. This is, of course, a fast food place primarily intended for people who are passing by, but it used to be very good. I hope that when I come back in a few years, it's the same old quality again."
