"Visited this restaurant today after a small regional wine tasting and found the food, ambience and hospitality a treat. Family friendly, but immediately felt, we were childless and led us to a quiet area, very contemplative. We chose this restaurant because it is unusual in France for vegetarians, although, as it happens, the salmon dish was the choice of the day for our veggie. The beef was excellent as the pig was sweet and sour. Worth a visit."

"Based on the great reviews, we drove 1.5 hours to try this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. The setting is quite nice, very clean, with a lovely terrace overlooking a stream and a field. However, anti-mosquito lamps/lights would be a welcome feature. My husband was very pleased with his choices (smoked salmon tuna, ravioli with truffles, and mojito cheesecake). Mine, on the other hand, were surprisingly bland (beef carpaccio, veal roast, and Frappuccino). While the meat was clearly top quality, it lacked flavor as did the accompanying mashed potatoes, and did not meet expectations for this type of establishment. The dessert was totally underwhelming. As for the staff, our waitress was briskly efficient, the chef unsmiling and gruff. All in all, we have mixed feelings about our experience and are unlikely to make the 3-hour round trip again."
