"Quirky venue this place is just as he says on the line. an old fashion barge converted for on board and on river banks. the menu is not long because the more galereed would not allow it, but the selection meets most needs of people. owner and youthful. the owner is very passionate about her caffe. I started with a huh laksa, beautiful when gently seasoned and had a baguette with breakfast ingredient inside. good speck herby sausage and i.e. my mint hot chocolate was very exhausting. my partner had healthier but also delicious food. the inner of the barge still seems very authentic. friendly chatty staff, would recommend."

"We went for my parents birthday and must say what a wonderful experience. Service was excellent, the staff are very good and the food was first class. Definitely recommend Mid point to everyone. "Took my son for a birthday lunch with some of his toddler friends and their parents. Not the easiest crowd with toddlers on board but Scott and his team were absolutely lovely and efficient in catering for our big group. Food was delicious and atmosphere great. "The only decent cafe in this part of town that was open Monday lunchtime! An entire vegan is available in addition to the Polish/English food on the main menu. A lot of standard fare (burgers, sausages etc. are made on the premises. Service was efficient and friendly. Main meals are £7 to £10, teas/coffees £1.60 to £3, smoothies are around £4. A small selection of cakes for £1 to £2. Shame it closes 3pm..."
