this is my third visit to the red lion, all at midday. the pub was busy with a large group, but the layout was configured so that they were easily separated from us. the ambiente is beautiful, the personal friendly and the service good. the menu, where possible to use locally produced products, is changed every month and is interesting, but not too ambitious. read more.

Arrived for a late booking for Sunday Lunch. Please wait we need to clear a table so we sat in the bar surrounded by uncleared tables. Clearly understaffed. Menu only had two choices of roast- beef and chicken. Beef was sold out. So two chicken then! when order was taken 20 mins later. Taken to table.
