Superb food at the Barking Smack, generous portions and great value prices. We really enjoyed our meals here which were the Gammon steak and half roast chicken; both meals were HUGE and delicious. Next time in Gt Yarmouth, we're definitely returning here for dinner. Barking Smack is certainly worthy of the travellers choice status it currently enjoys. Pub is situated on the front by the amusements. With a spacious beer garden at the front, along with plenty of space indoors. Drinks were a bit hit and miss.. nothing special but ok. Food on menu sounded great but was told most was not available.. order out food, nothing.. waited.. nothing.. nobody came to say it was on hold while the chef wasn't around.. ended up with a refund, after going in to ask what happened. Recommend a visit good quality pup nice to see it reopen we used to use the pup in the 80 and 90 good meeting place
