"We were passing the area looking for a coffee shop. We have been before and enjoyed it so decided to go back again... Well the coffee was great and the sponge jam cake was superb again. 10/10. The gents who run the business are very...friendly making the place great. They have a full food lunch menu that looks great and we will try it next time we are out for lunch. Perfect for families or a catch up with friends and family."

"I have had the pleasure of staying at The Hog having come across it online. I had heard about a major renovation after it had been bought by new owners and was unsure what to expect. Upon arrival I was greeted with warmth and welcome from the Reception team and shown to my room. My room was immaculate, well presented and exceeded my expectations. I was able to settle into my room and rested well that night. The following morning I made my way to the restaurant for breakfast and was delighted by the friendliness of the staff and presentation of the restaurant space, not to mention the delicious breakfast that had been prepared for me. I only originally booked a single night, but having met the owners, and explained that I would have liked to stay longer, they were able to ensure my room was available for a consecutive night, which was unexpected and very kind. The hotel is a delight, fairly priced, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone considering booking a stay; you will not be disappointed."

"The Lacon Arms hosted our wedding last Saturday. We would like to thank Launa, Sian and all the staff for the absolutely fantastic job they did making our day so very special. The layout of the venue was stunning and the attention to detail was incredible. The food for both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet exceeded our expectations. All of our guests were looked after meticulously. Together with the fact that the venue lent itself perfectly to the ceremony, We can say that we would recommend The LA Lounge to anybody who is considering getting married there.
