Very nice place! Had the Cajun catfish and what amounts to a sampler platter. Very nice full flavored food. The andouille used in the dishes is fabulous! I would have like a bit more or a seafood/shrimp base in the gumbo--but that's just a personal preference. I would have also liked a more visionary side dish with the catfish special. But overall it was very pleasurable. And who doesn't like Alison Krause? View all feedback.

Best New Orleans bar and restaurant in Wisconsin. Live jazz nearly every night. You will be delighted and surprised. Gumbo to die for, phenomenal atmosphere. A real gem.
My first time at Blue Opus was last week Saturday eve. Tonight makes my third visit. Food is delicious! Music is awesome! Staff is so welcoming and helpful. Loving your place, which is fast becoming my place.
I love this place, the best gumbo and music, my boyfriend and I go to the Blue Opus every chance we get
