I have visited Tokyo multiple times and have always enjoyed their cuisine. This was my first time trying their sushi and it was outstanding!! The rolls were incredibly large. I ordered two rolls assuming they would be small, but I couldn't even finish both of them. Tokyo is definitely one of my top choices for dining in Greencastle. View all feedback.
What Gracie Godsey doesn't like about Tokyo Steak Of Japan:
My husband and I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box, the salad was a joke, the dressing was watered down and pooled up in the bottom of the bowl, it had no flavor at all. The miso soup was good, it tasted fresh. When our bento boxes came we were pretty disappointed. The only thing good was the spring roll, the sushi was not fresh and you could tell it came straight from the box. The fried rice was bland. The teri... View all feedback.
Great sushi and great service. First time here, didn't know what to expect. Definitely pleasantly surprised. Anyone wanting sushi or sashimi I recommend to stop by.
Food and staff were good. A little small, and clostrophobic for us big guys. Not a lot of room. It was a Long John Silver, but where I Greencastle can you get swordfish steak and Asian veggies fir 16.00?? Strong Asian flavors. Food is a 5 atmosphere is a 3.
Maybe I?m used to nicer ones possibly. This place was AS expensive as the better ones in Carmel- but the food is not even CLOSE to as good. So you might as well drive the distance to get the god good otherwise you?re just wasting your money. We threw ours away it was inedible.
Ordered hibachi shrimp dinner. The shrimp was tough, the rice was dried out, the miso soup had a funny after taste. The spring roll was dried out and chewy, Schwan?s has better ones, can get tastier California rolls at Kroger. The dining area is dirty and needs a good scrubbing. Don?t want to think about what the kitchen might look like. The salt and pepper shakers were dirty and sticky and the tops were rusty. I won?t go again.

The miso soup was good, it tasted fresh. When our bento boxes came we were pretty disappointed. The only thing good was the spring roll, the sushi was not fresh and you could tell it came straight from the box. The fried rice was bland. The teriyaki was too sweet and way to thick. The vegetables were okay but it was mostly onion. For 2 bento boxes and 2 drinks it costed $30, it was not at all worth it. The only reason I'm rating 3 stars is because our waitress was great! She kept our drinks refilled and was very nice.
